- A customer who has damaged Water Works, Gas & Sewer Board equipment or tampered with the lock on a meter set may be refused service and/or charged for damages. Such occurrences may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
- In the event the meter fails to register consumption in whole or in part, the customer will pay such reasonable sum as is ascertained to be due for the period involved.
- The customer shall be liable and shall pay for all gas and/or water passing through the meter until it is turned off. When the termination of service is requested, the customer must ensure that the Water Works, Gas & Sewer Board receives written or verbal notice at least one day prior to the desired date of termination.
